Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Flock Systems collects when it's added to your Discord server, how it's used, and the choices available to server owners and staff.
1. What We Collect
When active in your server, Flock Systems collects:
- In-game vehicle plates scanned by placed camera zones, with timestamp and location
- BOLO entries created by staff, including the flagged plate and reason
- Discord server ID, channel IDs, and role IDs needed to run commands and permissions
- Discord user IDs of staff who issue commands, for audit logging
We do not collect real-world personal information, payment details, or anything outside of in-game roleplay data and the Discord metadata needed to operate the bot.
2. How We Use It
Collected data is used solely to power Flock Systems' features: live plate scanning, BOLO alerts, history lookups, and staff permission enforcement. It is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
3. Storage & Retention
Scan and BOLO data is retained for as long as your server has Flock Systems installed, so that history lookups remain accurate. Data is deleted automatically within 30 days of the bot being removed from a server, unless required to be kept longer for abuse investigation.
4. Sharing
We do not share server data with other communities or third parties. Data collected in your server is scoped to your server only and is not visible to other Flock Systems servers.
5. Access Control
Access to plate history, scan logs, and BOLO tools is restricted to Discord roles your server's administration assigns via /roles set. We do not grant ourselves standing access to your server's data beyond what's needed for support or abuse investigation.
6. Your Choices
Server owners can request full deletion of their server's data at any time by contacting Support, and can remove the bot to stop future collection immediately.
7. Children's Privacy
Flock Systems is not directed at children under 13, in line with Discord's own age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from users who do not meet Discord's minimum age policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
